Hi, I’m Kayla :)

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I am a multidisciplinary creative with a passion for creating engaging content in sports, entertainment, and creator spaces. Growing up surrounded by sports, video games, and music, I’ve seen how media builds culture firsthand. By combining my various backgrounds in photography, videography, design, and social content, I am dedicated to creating media reflecting the raw, energetic moments that define culture.

I started my career in 2020 providing freelance design services to creators, brand, and communities, and created a diverse scope of deliverables from brand identities to assets used on socials. This foundation in visual storytelling shapes how I approach creating content today. So in 2023 when picked up my first camera, I began capturing sports—working with the digital marketing team at UCI Athletics to produce front-to-end social strategy and digital media for 14 teams across 7 sports.

Currently, I continue to my work at UCI Athletics while providing full-scale creative services beyond design, providing front-to-end social strategy and producing photo and video content that builds culture and community.
